Before you start using Facebook and Instagram by Meta, you need to set up a Facebook Business Manager that's connected to both your business's Facebook Page and an ad account that has an admin role for the Business Manager. It's not like you'll be missing out on much/anything, Horizons. Or just avoid it altogether and avoid linking when asked in the App. You can unlink the account from the Meta account website under Meta Account Center ( ), go ahead and do that if you'd like to not publish your social connections in VR. This is untrue, and Meta needs to better educate the support team it was disappointing that they'd say such a thing. So I contacted Meta Support, and they told me there is no way to unlink accounts, and the only way would involve losing all my purchases, friends, etc. The next thing I know, my Meta account displays all sorts of additional stuff I didn't want in VR /sigh. I probably should have created just a Meta Account, but it warned me that I wouldn't get access to X, Y, and Z, so I OK'd it. When using the Meta App on my phone, I was pushed to create a new Meta Account and link my Facebook and Instagram.
